eScrip Information

Welcome to a new fundraising year! Each year, Sandy Hill earns about $2,000 from eScrip. We are currently working on building our eScrip support, and we need all families to sign up or renew. It is important that you do this as soon as possible.

Sick Policy

Sandy Hill’s Sick Policy is adapted from recommendations by the American Public Health Association.

Helper Guidelines

The primary reason you have chosen to be a part of a cooperative nursery school and to participate in the classroom is to share with your child’s nursery school experience. This is a special opportunity for you and your child, so take advantage of it.

Parental Participation Agreement

As a parent cooperative school, Sandy Hill is founded upon and dependent on the participation of all our members. Parents help support the school in many ways.

Snacks

Sandy Hill provides the children with a snack each morning around 10:30. The snack consists of an organic fruit, organic crackers and bottled water.

Field Trips

The children in the Pre-Kindergarten program will enjoy 4-5 field trips each school year. They are often planned around a given theme of the month. We visit the Birch Aquarium, Torrey Pines trails, the Monarch Vivarium, Solana Beach Fire Dept. and The Botanic Gardens. We count on our parents to provide transportation for each of our field trips.
